At Rumi we warmly welcome everyone who finds their way to us. We feel closely connected to Kilchberg and want to offer a snug space that gives our guests the chance to meet their neighbours and friends.
It does not matter whether you are meeting a friend, working or taking a short break from your work, or seeking incredibly good coffee and treats - come in, we can’t wait to welcome you!
Great coffee & homemade delights
In addition to our delicious coffee, we offer a carefully curated selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. We serve homemade cakes and sweet treats, baked lovingly by our staff. For lunch we have toasted sandwiches and dishes that change daily such as quiche or soups which you can also take away.
Special Events
We organise many different events to bring our community together. Whether it’s a stand-up comedy night or an aromatherapy workshop, you can find something that is fun for you!
If you would like to organise your own event at our café simply contact us and we will make it happen.

How to Find Us

Café Rumi is a couple of minutes from Kilchberg Bahnhof. Weinbergstrasse has a few public parking spots and there is more at the train station. We do not have on-site parking.
Hire our venue for private events
Our cosy cafe is available to hire for private events such as birthday parties, workshops and social gatherings outside of our opening hours. Call us or send us an email.
